Mimì again, back at The Met

21, 24, 28 April | 2, 6, 11, 14, 17, 20 May

I’m pleased to announce my new performance as Mimì at the New York Metropolitan Opera. It’s always an immense pleasure to sing in this signature role of mine and always to find new inspiration and powerful meaning in its drama and above all in Puccini’s music.

I’m grateful to The Met for this exciting project, made up of important debuts like Madama Butterfly and Elisabetta di Valois in Don Carlo, but also for including me in so many revivals of memorable productions such as this one by Franco Zeffirelli.

Another source of pride is to be singing as Mimì for Maestro Yannick Nézet-Séguin who is conducting La Bohème for the first time at The Met. With me on stage will be Stephen Costello as Rodolfo, Sylvia D’Eramo and Davide Luciano making their debuts at The Met as Musetta and Marcello, Christian Van Horn as Colline and Donald Maxwell as Benoit and Alcindoro.

Worldwide Broadcasts on Radio and Online
The performances on 21 April (7:30pm ET / 1:30 CEST) and 6 May (1pm ET / 7pm CEST) will be broadcast live on the Metropolitan Opera Radio, SiriusXM channel 355. The one on 6 May will also be broadcast over the Toll Brothers–Metropolitan Opera International Radio Network.
