I wanted Butterfly as a tribute to the heroines that I interpret on stage. I took my inspiration from a woman as sweet as notes of rose and lily of the valley, slightly effervescent like orange-blossom and grapefruit. She is a woman who shows her passionate heart to those closest to her, enveloping them in the irresistible perfume of exotic wood. I wanted “my” perfume in the same year as my first Butterfly and in tribute to the immortal Butterfly of Renata Tebaldi.
